Hollywood relationships are exciting and complicated, whether a short-lived romance between two young stars or a long-term union went awry. Since Pierce Brosnan and his wife have been married for an amazing 20 years, their romance has stood the test of time.

They are incredibly in love every time they are spotted together. However, there has been significant debate recently over their relationship.

Everyone was intrigued by how stunningly beautiful Brosnan, 68, and Keely Shaye Smith, 58, were as a couple when they first married since they were both extraordinarily gorgeous.

They first met in April 1994, and on August 4, 2001, they were married in Ireland. Paris Beckett Brosnan and Dylan Thomas Brosnan are the couple’s two sons.

Smith gained some weight after giving birth to their two children, which prompted scathing criticism regarding her appearance.

People may have been surprised to learn that the former James Bond had remained with someone whose appearance had changed drastically, but Brosnan and Smith’s relationship has repeatedly shown that it goes deeper than what meets the eye.

Brosnan spent three years studying at the Drama Centre in London, England, after dropping out of school at 16. He began his career as a stage actor before moving on to television and movies. One of his first notable performances was in the 1982–1987 TV series “Remington Steele.”

Following that, he enjoyed greater success with movies like “The Fourth Protocol” and “Mrs. Doubtfire.” He became famous and prosperous worldwide for playing James Bond in several movies, propelling him to celebrity almost immediately.

But throughout his life, Brosnan has had his share of difficulties. Cassandra Harris, his first wife, sadly passed away from ovarian cancer after being married to him for 11 years.

Sean Brosnan, the couple’s only biological child, was born to them. Charlotte and Christopher, who Harris had from a previous marriage, were taken in by Brosnan after their father passed away in 1986.

It was difficult for Brosnan to deal with all the difficulties, but he was fortunate to have Smith by his side to encourage and assist him in any way he could. Over the years, Smith has held various positions, including that of actor, journalist, author, and television host.

She has been on shows like “General Hospital,” “Good Morning America,” “The Home Show,” and “Entertainment Tonight,” among others.

Brosnan has defended his wife throughout their marriage since she has always been there for him in his most trying circumstances. Fabiosa claims that Smith put on weight after giving birth to their two children and has continued to do so.

Although she has received criticism for this from certain people, Brosnan has consistently been by her side, demonstrating his love and respect for her. After the passing of his first wife and daughter, according to Fabiosa, Smith reportedly helped Brosnan “come to life” and gave him the space to properly mourn and come to terms with the catastrophic losses in his life.

In 2013, Brosnan remarked to Express, “Keely has always been nice and empathetic and supported me to mourn Cassie.” Added him:

“I never stop thinking about her. I imagine Keely as my North Star, constantly watching out for me.”

Brosnan has always been so in love with his wife because of Smith’s charisma and kind nature. This became even clearer when online trolls started making fun of Smith’s weight in front of the public.

Jenelle Evans, a reality TV star from the “Teen Mom” series, shared pictures of the couple on Facebook last year and made disparaging remarks about Smith’s appearance. Her husband responded to her letter with equally hurtful remarks, and eventually, Facebook had to step in.

One picture of Brosnan and Smith from earlier in their relationship and the other from much more recently were posted side by side by Evans. Both images show them on a beach with their naked bodies in full view.

Evans wrote, “This is us,” tagging her husband. Eason immediately replied, “We do not look that fat,” Evans immediately wrote, “Close to it” and an emoji of laughter. But Facebook punished them for their cruel taunts by temporarily banning them from the site.

Brosnan doesn’t appear to be bothered by insults made by random online users, and he has no problem with his wife’s physical appearance. But more people than random strangers have made remarks about Smith’s weight. Even people they know have made such statements, according to Brosnan. He spoke

“Her friends offered her weight-loss surgery. However, I adore every curve in her physique. In my opinion, she is the most gorgeous woman. Additionally, she gave birth to our five children.”

Also, from him:

“I used to love her for who she was, not just her beauty, and now that she is the mother of my children, I love her much more. And I constantly want to be deserving of her affection because I am so proud of her.”

Brosnan and Smith have remained by each other’s sides through all that life have thrown at them, and they still appear to be deeply in love. Brosnan shared a charming before-and-after image with a sweet note on Instagram to mark the couple’s 20th wedding anniversary.

The actor tweeted, “Happy anniversary, my lovely Keely, my love forever grows with you.” When it comes to this famous pair, it seems like love is always in the air.
